First Fridays tonight in downtown Phoenix...

Anyone else going out tonight? I'm gathering a group of peeps for First Fridays tonight in central Phoenix. So far, I have Justice, Jim, Neil, Jay (a San Diego forumer), Phx31 (hopefully he's not coming to kill me) and a few others for some fun and adventure. You can just meet up with us for part of the evening - don't have to do everything. Tentative plan:

6 pm - Meet at my place near 16th St and Glendale.

7 pm - Travel in my convertible (with top down - no whining about the cold) to park and ride near 3rd Street and Camelback at the north end of light rail line.

7:15 pm - Ride light rail train to downtown Phoenix.

7:30 pm - Exit train at Roosevelt Station - possibly grab coffee, wander around the event along Roosevelt and perhaps take shuttle over to Grand Avenue.

9 pm-ish - See if people want to grab a bite to eat downtown, followed by more wandering around.

11 pm-ish - Make our way to Amsterdam, then Transylvania (Goth night) at Palazzo next door. Dance off dinner.

Midnight - Watch the transformation at Trans into a Gothic cathedral.

Shortly thereafter - head back to the car on light rail.

So there it is. Text or call me if you want to meet up on our little adventure. I and several others will be dressed to terrorize the good citizens of Phoenix. By the way, if you are shy, close-minded, uptight or paranoid...stay at home. This is a "let it all hang out type of fun."

I was just joking, I'm really not going to be meeting up for First Fridays. However, I might be going to The Main Ingredient with a couple friends.

Hopefully the rain holds off until tomorrow so FF isn't a washout (it should).

^ Well, everything from 7:30 to about 11:30 pm is pretty fungible. A lot will depends on what my cohorts in crime want to do. I'm not married to any particular schedule.
