So will we get brand new textures on San Felix? Man, I love skyscrapers but IDK if I would like a room full of them. Unless my room is the size of the moon then only like 4-6 skyscraper themed things. I wish our BofA had green lights around it. Damn hippies with their energy saving ways.

It's looking really great austin. I'm liking how everyone is taking the realism approach in their cities with lowrise buildings.

BTW: Would you mind if I based a building in my new city off one of your's?

I love the last shot. The city looks very New York-ish but modern. Have you thought about working on the waterfront?

Thanks,I try to use lots of different styles to keep it classy. Piccaso And Echo are the best examples.

What do you mean exactly? i just did the waterfront,But its not totaly finished. Do you think I need a new one? what does this one need? I know the end of the penninsula is still pretty crappy right now though.

For people who might not have figured that out,its based of Manhattens AT&T.

Ye Olde waderfont is bein in construction agian. heres a sneak peak/Update.

Here be some street lining shops, with a big oll box. this style makes up most of the district.

Remember the old San Felix Mission Church? well it back, only wothout all its glory. this time, there was no big heroic battle here. Instead its just some old 1700's mission church that the spainish built.

And Finnaly, here is some old Highrises in the heart of it all.

Thanks for looking!

I really like how the old church is tucked away in the trees like that. And of course, love the box.

Yeah,I knew you had the one from (is isnt it shell building?) that old higheise, and the big black box I got from NY.and almost all of the little shopfronts are from Chicago or my own photos. Ive actually ditched several building cause of this. Also, ive been making these buildings for the past several weeks. The mission, for example was actually done before peters.

Related, ive decidedvto use "Amazing textures" again in this area. Shopfront textures are abundant there, and its just the style there.

The Mission Church looks really cool and believable. I agree with Dac that the trees all around it make it nice. So is the entire area around the Church considered a park?

it is nice to see some new textures in San Felix, the others are too common.

i recommend repositioning some of the textures to make them even on all sides. such as on the 4 floor tower part of the Mission Church, you can reposition the texture so its the same on all sides. i can see at least one side on that tower is not lined up correctly.

The only thing the waterfront needs is cars. You couldn't see it too well from that other shot but it looks great. I like that khaki colored building in the last shot. The one that kind of looks like a short version of the Rockefeller Center, it looks nice, and it fits in perfectly. You really did well on the building next to that lil Rockefeller, the one with the antenna in the middle and it's like brown (you can also see it on the last picture of post 932).

Austin, the problem I have with San Felix is that it has a rather flat skyline, there are no ultra tall buildings, even the tallest buildings just sort of fall flat into the skyline itself. Theres too much duplicated buildings, I suggest changing the heights of some of those buildings and make a sort of two clustered skyline, with the tallest buildings surrounding the Picasso Plaza and the sexy tower with the Fins.
