Cool photo. So much potential for that end of Graham Ave. Such a cool vibe. Too bad it gets lost in the mix.

That could be an amazing shopping destination with a redeveloped Bay anchoring it.

love those classy street lights along memorial street in that bay picture. wish they would introduce something similar if they ever decided to renovate that prominent but drab-as-hell street.

Agreed. With the Inuit centre being built, this stretch needs to be addressed in terms of appearance. Much of the area's woes (including Graham) comes down to the Bay building being redeveloped.

What is that building in the foreground at York and Kennedy? I don't remember it at all.

I like this one... some 60s brutalism, North End style. You just don't see this kind of boldness anymore. That church (St. John Cantius) still looks pretty fresh and nice today.

Anyone else remember this cool 3-D Standard Dairies billboard that stood at Salter and Flora until sometime in the early 80s?

Yeah, I see the government of Manitoba crest on it, but I have no idea what it is, or the building with the chateau style roof.

Not quite sure myself, but looking closer it seems to be a garage of some sort. Bay door in front with well worn tracks in the snow. Rear yard has a few similar trucks. Provincial service centre?
