When you get farther from an object that's farther away and you have stuff in the foreground, the object farther away looks bigger

Basically they’re all far away at that point. The further away you get from the giants of Manhattan and the skyline, the more apparent the scale. More difficult to grasp when you’re in it, or up close.

There is a reason its called "the city". This image pretty much solidifies the reason the crown is still on the king.

Damn, that shot makes Downtown look more outnumbered than ever before. Always has been, but Midtown is just exploding now. Lower Manhattan could really use, 2WTC, 45 Broad and 80SS.
