Nice pictures. Are the old buildings on picture 2 and 4 left? And have no 4 been renovated? I hope they have not been demolished!

The house on on photo #2 is, as far as I know, still intact.

The building on photo # 4 is the Old Customs house which now is convertet to a luxery hotel with 60 rooms. Here is the wiki article.

Nice shots. I was there a few years ago. Some parts are pretty nice and modern. But yeah for the most part, it is indeed as gritty as it looks.

I like the contrast of the narrow neon-filled alley with the dark back alley that follows.
