SSP City - Picture thread

SSP City - Present day

Location - Cyberspace



SSP City is a 'work in progress' combining the talents of SketchUp Cityscape artists from SSP forums .


In this thread will appear rendered and unrendered shots of the city as it progresses .

*Latest pics and progress will appear in this first post until the next update and so on .

A new addition compliments of Cesar
Soon as the city gets bigger these pics will become more interesting cos i will add cars,people etc . To add them now may look weird as there arent enough buildings/facilities to accomodate them

Also more camera angles will be available so i can show off the ground detail of these buildings which i reall wish i could do now because they look great

Wow, the last render looks wonderful!! btw, how I can put reflection in my models??? do I need sketchup pro??? sorry for doing this questions on this thread.

But since thats ruined, can you put relections on the glass? OH and whos' building is right up against mine? Its literally blocking it entirely, anyways it can be moved?

Yeah we should add chat so the page loads quicker

Cesar the reflections and stuff are done in a seperate render program called Kerkythea , the best way to learn it is by Googeling.
The last 3 unrendered shots i put in cos the renders take ages, which angle would y'all like to see rendered ?
I have a couple more buildings to add before the next render .
Patrick yeah i was thinking Cesars complex might really work better if it were turned 180 degrees , that way we can see more of both

Nooo, Ceasers Complex is fine! I'm talking about the lone Black Box that obstructs views from my Green Condominium Tower.

ah i see , its really only the angle in that shot , your towers are still visible from alot of angles , i will get pics from other angles soon
