I think the building would've looked even more impressive if the portion of the building under the setback would've been higher.

Ladies and gentlemen 4 World Trade Center has now past it's setback and the top part is the only part that needs completion. Time to celebrate.

Setback?
Um, why is there a steel column all by it's self, with about 5 others on the other end of the tower. I thought one end of the tower would not grow anymore?

The setback goes from the Southwest corner, to roughly the center of the north side of the tower. That column is one of two that will stick up in that corner, you'll notice it is set back several feet from the current column, and that is because of the setback

The mass of this building already seems to dwarf OLP, which itself is a massive building. The final product is going to be huge.
