What's your favourite European stadium?

What's your favourite European stadium?

I really like Old Trafford and Camp Nou.

also got some pics of the national stadium of Moldova, it also looks really good. The ugliest stadium? I think CSKA stadium.

For me, it's got to be a toss-up between the Nou Camp and the Bernebéu.

I always thought the stadiums in Netherlands was some of the best:

Amsterdam Arena, Ajax Amsterdam:

De Kuip, Feyernoord:

The extended Philips Stadium, PSV Eindhoven:

Germany has some great new ones and old ones too:

Allianz Arena, FC Bayern München and TSV 1860 München:

Munich Olympic Stadium:

The renovation and new building of portuguese stadiums has left some very interesting ones:

Estádio Municipal de Aveiro, S.C. Beira-Mar:

but this has to be the best looking stadium in Europe!

Estadio Municipal de Braga, Sporting Clube de Braga:

New Camp Nou (Nou camp nou?), Berlin Olympiastadion (despite its history), and those British stadiums that are basically piecemeal agglomerations of grandstands are my favorites. Also, the Colosseum was technically built as a stadium, so that too is one of my favorites.

Not that familiar with a lot of stadiums in Europe but I couldn't resist commenting. The Allianz Stadium is without a doubt the best - I went to Munich a few years ago and I remember the first time seeing it all lit up at night. Such an incredible sight! Im trying to find my pictures of it on my external harddrive as it was light up red and blue when I saw it and it looked spectacular! When I went we stayed in an apartment at the very top of this building - nightmare for my legs but the view of the city skyline at night was breathtaking. Nymphenburg Palace was very beautiful as well. Nothing on the Allianz Stadium though!

Actually, I didn't know it before reading this thread, but the Estadio Municipal De Braga is really spectacular! My absolute favourite, however, will have to be the Allianz Arena. Glorious.

BEST STADIUMS IN EUROPE (imo of course)

#1 wembley stadium UK, the home of football.
#2 twikenham stadium UK, the home of rugby.
#3 Wimbledon stadium UK, the home of tennis.
#4 lords stadium UK, the home of cricket.
It's great to watch sports in the stadiums and country that created them, and as Britain created most world sports and has many of the greatest stadiums, I think I am justified in having a UK centric list

I was going to include the open UK, the home of golf, but the stands are different to a conventional stadium, but the atmosphere is amazing, another great sport Britain gave to the world

In no particular order, some of my favourite German ones

Signal Iduna Park (on merit of its size and atmosphere alone)
Allianz Arena AND Olympiastadion in Munich
Esprit Arena (Duesseldorf)
Red Bull Arena (Leipzig... gorgeous)
Volkswagen Arena (Wolfsburg)
