CLEVELAND - Time for a Warm Up!

In celebration of the first day where temps were high (we hit 70 degrees) and skies were blue:

This small alley is called Theresa Court - no idea who she was...

The Board of Education building's awesome light fixtures:

The nice temps brought people out of their office buildings:

The Arcade getting ready for St. Patty Day:

Even under construction, there were a lot of people out on Euclid.

Nice details on the Arcade's Euclid Avenue tower:

More pedestrians!

Fire escape, anyone?

At one point the building with the fire escapes might have been considered tall...

East 4th Street:

Prospect Avenue:

People and pets were out and about:

Landmark Office Towers:

The penthouse units of the Park Building in the foreground (right side) will have awesome views of Public Square:

Public Square was definitely hopping:

Reflections, anyone?

Bank signage, anyone?

Pedestrians on East 9th:

And in celebration of the first day the S.O. could put the top down on the convertible

Looking south on East 9th Street:

Tower at Erieview and AT&T Lakeside:

Looking south, this time on West 9th:

Cornices for everybody!

Terminal Tower plays peek-a-boo:

I held the camera backward, and hoped I'd get a decent shot... not too shabby!

Hope you enjoyed!

Nice pics MayDay. Great to see the activity has returned to downtown (after the winter). Good stuff.

Convertible, eh? Seems like you hit the jackpot with the SO, my friend.

It's always amazing how lively people get this time of the year in Cleveland. It's like everyone's been stuck in a shell during the winter and have just been let loose. I had my second annual cruise in the car to ring in the spring weather today - a little Lynyrd Skynyrd and Eagles playing, windows down. Its time to get the camera ready for five months of non-stop use before heading off to college.

This one's my favorite, I'm loving the past and present feel.

The Key Tower looks so good in this photo that it looks more like a concept rendering than an actual building:

Awesome pics.

Super nice! I really like the The Key Tower. One of my favorites.

This photo is amusing... The two black women on the left looking at the two white women. What could they be thinking

Who would of thought when this photo was taken that today, only a week or two later, that it would be snowing and below freezing. Oh, that's right we're talking Northeast Ohio here - "where the weathermen earn their pay."
