Arrow MJSanFrancisco

I've been working in Sacramento every week since the New Year, but for the weekend of January 6-7 I was able to get over to San Francisco.

It's obvious what I was there to do! Here are the results:

I was also in San Francisco on August 11 if you're interested in more of my shots of the city:

Those are really good shots, very well done. Lots of peaks and valleys in this city.

What would be another interesting thread would be one that compares various different neighborhoods outside of the Financial area, all quite different.

Beautiful pics. I especially like the one of the base of 101 California.

Stunning... do I smell some subtle, refreshingly appropriate HDR on some of those backlit sunset shots? I keep swearing the stuff off until I'm reminded from time to time the way it's meant to be used. In either case, those shots as well as most of the others were quite the treat.

Technical and visual beauty aside, my favorite was the extreme steep grade street with the street fixtures casually following form!

Okay for a minute I thought I was seeing Joshua Trees (no way not in San Francisco) until later there was a close up shot.

That first Pyramid sunset shot is outta this world. Great work.

Now you know since you revealed that you've been in Sactown, the locals and one-time locals will demand a thread, right?
