SAN DIEGO | 1 Library Circle | 480 FT / 146 M

1 Library Circle is a 43-story condo project at the northeast corner of Park Boulevard and K Street. The project has been approved, and construction is scheduled to begin in late 2007.

We should move this to the right forum until it starts construction. There's nothing spectacular about the design but at least it should be at or near the height limit (43 floors = 460-500 feet?)

The library tower has clean lines for a condo tower. I wish more developers would follow this model. Having said that, it would be nice to see more towers that look like say, the Harbor Club or ICON. I think many of us have become so used to Bosa or Vancouver styled condo towers that we accept condo towers to be white or beige structures with green windows.

This would be a good place to put news on the new central library if anyone has any.

I live across the street from where this project is said to go, and NO nothing has happened with this OR the library that it's named after.
