Yes, it has been fixed up but there is no front or back yard and the street runs 15ft from the front door. $289,000 for that goes to show you where we are starting at in Charlottetown.

West Royalty Elementary Expansion

A school that is relatively new, has reached its capacity in a few short years. A new addition is underway. Just goes to show how fast the area is growing.

Here are a few photos that are a few weeks old. The fifth floor is now complete. I'll be out that way on Sunday and I will get updated photos.

Thank You Siriusb. This developer has some big plans in my town, so I was just wondering how this project was progressing.

They're doing the site prep on this one right now:

I wouldn’t say it’s new, but its not really old either. It was probably built in the early 2000’s which would make it close to 20 years old if it’s not that old already.

The school was built in mid 2000's, however this is the third expansion of the school. This will bring capacity up to 800 kids.

At least they are actually expanding the school and not just adding potable classroom units like in Moncton. Three expansions is a lot for a school that is 15-20 years old though! I wonder if the area will need a middle school soon?

The Port House

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZiK...l1O7ZJn2a/view

A planning board meeting took place this evening and all passed on this project. The public meeting will be next and that will be interesting.
My fear is the LOT 500 snoodies, who think they live in a utopia and it is only
available for them may win this. The Cullen letter is especially interesting as they are the owners of Purity Dairy and are totally against this.
Talk about shooting yourself in the foot!!

Charlottetown inching closer at making '5-legged roundabout' at St. Peters-Belvedere a reality

CBC PEI NEWS

.....The request for proposals is to hire an engineering consulting firm "to complete design work for the construction of a five-legged roundabout at the intersection of St. Peters Road and Belvedere Avenue.....

Further to this image, the Leons is gone and the International Restaurant is long gone. Now maybe things can get back under way, like that apartment building.

New St. Peters Road plan eliminates Angus Drive roundabout

CBC PEI NEWS

Thank goodness, three roundabouts!! Only our magnanimous hiway engineers could come up with that idea!! This is better but even two is too much.

.....The plan eliminates the roundabout at Angus Drive, the closest intersection to Mel's, and will add a central island down
St. Peters Road preventing left-hand turns onto or off of Angus, as well as into or out of Mel's.....
