What area of the city were you from Exodus? I think you'd really be impressed with some of the rehab beginning to creep back towards that area of town!

I grew up on the west side in the Michigan/Livernoise area. I've also spent several years on the southwest side around the Vernor/Springwells area. And I know about some of the infill between 32nd and 28th, because I grew up on 29th. The infill project is named Newberry Estates, after the school I attended.
