Patrick I love Staunton like half the world do judging by the thread view count but i'd love to see you step outside her just for a change. I bet you have some amazing things inside your head just bursting to climb over Staunton and reveal itself !!

If I saw this picture somewhere else, and there weren't those empty slots, I would think this to be a very accurate hand-drawn image of a real city - it looks so realistic! I though that Staunton v2 was exceptional, but v3 has makings of something even better.

That looks great! You should upload that picture in a bigger size. I also like the Yin-Yang!

I'd love to, but I guess you can call me dedicated, I will not give up on Staunton until I have all of New Ganton, Staunton, Jefferson, Hamilton, and Brighton modeled. It seems I can't get past Jefferson without starting over! aah dammit!

Finally, a shot I'm proud of!

I should! Staunton looks pretty badass from the air now. I just wish I had more of Staunton done, I take my time because If I ever feel like rushing the building it ends up looking shitty, quality counts, even if I'll never post a picture of the building.

^^^ Yeah, you are better off taking your time and produce a quality item rather than rush and end up wanting to start over again. Take your time because the finished product is always worth the wait.

Staunton is no longer stuck in time, I think I'm setting it in 2006 around the skyscraper boom of the 2000's and when I first created Staunton, so you'll see a few modern buildings and condominiums that's for sure!

That shot IS magnificent. I've always loved a view where a street seems to end at a towering wall, like MetLife Building or Chicago Board of Trade. Kent Plaza certainly has the same effect.

this city is kick ass! ive read the hole thing from the begining... damn you put a lot of work into this, anyhow, nice job! i hope to follow your city frome now on ,keep up the updates!

edit: and yea, you shuold put in a glassy tower, since you want to keep Galprises as the tallest, maby smthin just berly below that, so its the 2nd tallest, maby somtin like greenwich,
then again your trying to NOT be like newyork, so...

It'll be nice to see some more modern, glassy highrises. Perhaps those can be the base for the 'Mid-town' area(?).

Actually I've been thinking of putting a very tall, 3rd tallest in all, building built in 2006 with a modern style, across the street from Galcorp, but I dont have a clue what the design will look like so stay tuned.

Inspired by BoiseAirport's amazing renders I tried some Kerkythea for the first time in a long while, wasn't very impressed, It seems I can do better in photoshop.

UIG Building, Harlow Grand Hotel (textures messed up at the top?), Metropolitan Steel Lofts.

Westly Shoppingtown & Westly Avenue Wall.

I like the westly shopping center still, and Im still probably the only one, haha.

I really like the Harlow, good massing and all, and the seemingly underated/undershown met. Steel lofts.

Sexy as always.

I think unrendered is your style Pat. The city looks great, nothing to complaint about because this city is just perfect!
