What U.S. cities have the most number of tall buildings (400 feet or higher) completed and under construction since 2020?

I'm not looking for tall buildings that are proposed, but only completed and under construction.

With the caveat that it's only as complete as a crowd sourced database can be, using our database:

Cities with 4+ new skyscrapers since 2020
New York - 73
Austin - 16
Chicago - 13
Miami - 13
Los Angeles - 10
Seattle - 10
Boston - 7
Houston - 7
Nashville - 6
Jersey City - 5
Dallas - 4
Philadelphia - 4

NYC + Jersey City - 78
Metro Miami - 21
Seattle + Bellevue - 12

San Francisco is at 2 since 2020.

I kept the cutoff at 4 new buildings since 2020 or else you pick up like six different Miami suburbs with beach towers. Hudson is a nice addition, but Detroit's only qualifier.

The Lumen at Playhouse Square (2020) is listed in our diagrams at 396 feet.

Minneapolis has 3, though 1 of them (north loop green) doesn't show in the diagrams for whatever reason. But it's most definitely U/C.

Milwaukee has 1.

Indy has a 400+ footer starting soon.

Newark NJ has the Halo which is like three towers in one at 53, 52 and 42 floors. All exceeding 400 ft. Currently u/c.

A lot in the pipeline. May not be super tall but 1000's of units in store.

Should go without saying that NJ's skyscraper capital is Jersey City, which greatly pulls for its population. And the pipeline with JC is large.

That's for core Miami as well. City limits.

The region really continues to balloon upward factoring in the barrier islands along with North Miami Shores, North Miami and places like Aventura and Hollywood.

Yeah there is a lot going on.

Fort Lauderdale is one to watch. A crap ton in the pipeline as the demand spills over from Miami proper. The thing is, a lot of these developments have high units counts as well so its not like they are tall buildings with under 200 units like you tend to see in NY, its more like 500-600 units it seems on average in something 400-550 ft in height with some bulk to add (damn parking decks!).
