These are some pics I have taken of new buildings u/c during April and May 2008.






The new World Trade Center in Västra Hamnen. The taller addition is integrated with the already existing Tekninkportalen. With only 11 floors and much lower than Turning Torso it is still the 2nd tallest tallest building in Västra Hamnen.




Many new residential buildings are under construction in Västra Hamnen. Turning Torso in the background.


Dockan. The side has just opposite of the dock was empty just until recently. It will be filled with new luxury apartment buildings.
A new highrise hotel is also planned here.


Kockumshuset and 4 Turning Torso with 4 angles visible at the same time.


The new Hyllie Arena u/c, with Hyllie Vattentorn (the “ufo” water tower) to the left. The construction progress has went pretty fast on Percy Nilsson’s project.




Swedbank Stadion is starting to take shape. It will be Malmö’s new main football stadium.


Malmö stadion, the old stadium, will be refurbished.

You guys have got some nice modern landmarks!
A "ufo" watertower and the Turning Torso. I should pay a visit one day.

wow...that one tall building give the illusion of motion...and of falling over

^It is called Turning Torso, is 190m tall and was designed by the world famous architect Santiago Calatrava.
