The shutter speed on my Nikon was way slow on that shot and after looking at it I liked the effect in the photo of how it makes our little skyscrapers look taller than they are.

Have you made it up yet this summer? The river is going to be busy with floaters through Labor Day and after that it gets quiet because of the return to university/school. If you want to try something really wild, book a float on the Payette River north of Boise.

Idaho is the creme de la creme of mountain rivers (and rivers not in the mountains) so take advantage of it. The Boise River has one of the best urban trout stretches in the nation and you can fish in the downtown area.
