I took this this morning, my first time seeing it above ground in person. You can't really appreciate the scale of the columns unless you see them in person.

Nice capture Drew. Luv the blurred edges. Reminds me of all of Dreamer's photos of the city (except the entire photos are blurred).

I know they are just drilling but it's crazy that The one will be eclipsed in height after about a year or so by One Yonge. We wait all this time for a new tallest and they seem to be coming fast and furious these days.

I rolled out of bed and onto the balcony to take the first U/C photo of One Yonge for you guys.

If its next door neighbour is any indication, it will be far longer than a year before it even gets above the podium. That thing broke ground 3 years ago and still isn't blocking my view from above the 20th floor.

Great update...however first U/C photo of the site? Maybe for this thread....the dedicated thread has more updates.

Seriously, appreciate the photo nontheless. One Yonge feels like a missed opportunity for some things, but hopefully it turns out okay.

^^ Most folks like the building’s unique form, but many despise the 2 “mouths” on the east and west elevations.

Apparently this design element was inspired by a “fake news” public figure.

160 Front reminds me of a giant mailbox. I've also thought the holes look like UFO's/aircraft are meant to dock inside them. Either way I know they are a love/hate. The jury is still out. Will be quite interesting to see how it turns out in real life.

Cool pictures of "The One"

The steel beams are a sight to behold. Need to get to Yorkville and see it in person as soon as possible.

Someone please enlighten me. Is all the steel in the ONE covered in rust or is it treated with something, and is that ok? Forgive my ignorance, but I'm seriously intrigued/concerned
