North Capitol Building Yesterday:

I wanted to walk around to get more angles but forgot that capitol hill is crowded during the session.

I don't remember a more beautiful January day then today. So I decided to take a skyline shot before it ended. Unfortunately, some of the buildings are washed out from the setting sun.

Don't know. I had heard rumors of another multifamily development a long time ago when Modern Display's leaving wasn't widely known, but I haven't heard anything since.

Also, MVE posted a nice update on "Journeyman" in the Granary:

Nice find!

On another note. Where do you think interest rates will need to come down to to start seeing some proposed projects move forward generally speaking? Seems like it might be another year or so to see any significant declines in rates?

Looks like the city is looking to give the U a long term lease for a portion of Sunnyside Park to accommodate their baseball stadium.

New crane

For those who keep track of cranes…
South Temple just east of State was closed part of the weekend and there is now a tall crane for the office to apartment conversion of the old University Club tower just east of the Alta Club.

Luke Garrott Reporting for BuildingSaltLake.com - Full Article @ https://buildingsaltlake.com/two-dee...ng-commission/

A rare east-side affordable housing project offering 88 units in a converted medical office + clinic building is seeking Planning Commission blessing this week...

At 1060 East 100 South, the Victory Heights project is a partnership between Brandon Blaser’s BCG Arc Fund, Volunteers of America, and Chris Parker’s Giv Group. A federal tax-credit (LIHTC) development that also has funding from local and state sources...

This is reasonable. Trade policy is a can of worms that is likely beyond the scope of this particular forum. Talk of eliminating farms, and farmers, is not reasonable or wise.

"I have little sympathy for Utah agriculture." You mean farmers, and their families? "Utah agriculture," - nice clinical term. Do you know their average income? Since you're so versed in agricultural market, and farming in Utah, what crops do you recommend?
