Thanks for the pictorial updates, DmaJackson. This is starting to look good. I am looking forward to seeing the new cladding completed.

Great updates - sad that the 'movies' on the wall will have to go, but I would gladly see it go for something like this!

Thanks for the updated pics. The cladding is looking great!

Am I seeing two more broken windows to go with the first (that still hasn't been replaced)??

Yes, I liked it too. And I also like the old infirmary, and Fenwick. Those type of old, looming structures give the city a type of moody atmosphere - especially on dark, cloudy/foggy days or late at night. I think it's nice for Hfx to have a touch of sparkle, but I don't think it has the soul a sparkly city.

Looking at Bishop's Landing Webcam it appears glass installation on the Lower Water St side is now under way.

I tried to limit myself on the number of photos this time ... I'm not really sure if it worked;

This is starting to take shape. I wonder when the exterior will be complete? It looks like they have at least a few more months to go on the exterior.

I really like that photo with the NSP development and the crane for the Vic. This part of the city has changed a ton since 10 years ago.

Thanks for the photos Dmajackson. The steel-work anchored to the cement walls looks rusted but maybe that is primer(?) Or, if the steel is completed protected from the elements (i.e. internal once it is enclosed) then maybe it is ok for the steel to be a bit rusted.

The only reason I mention the rusted steel is because steel anchors have been known to rust over several years and then let go (I have heard of this in both Montreal and Toronto).

Absolutely beautiful... this area is really becoming the most desirable in Halifax. I'm excited for the Alexander to eventually tie it all together.
