Boise Vistas, both sides of the Mountains. A Green Weekend in The City and Forest

My pictures from this past weekend.

Boise and the Boise Mountains taken from The Depot and Platt Gardens on a quiet Sunday afternoon:

The remainder of the pictures were taken behind the tallest mountain peak over Boise while mountain biking and some are from a short hike.

AWESOME! Boise is so beautiful. I only wish I had seen it in person on my many trips out west.

The scenery is amazing!

Another Sawtooth photo thread. Great work, again.

Have you spent much time in the White Cloud Wilderness area?

Boise impresses me everytime I see it. The next Portland perhaps?

I used to go to the White Cloud's every summer but have not been there for about 5 years. That is an extremely beautiful mountain range. I miss spotting mountain goats there.

Maybe you saw me There was a wedding going on at the depot so there were a lot of people wandering around with cameras. Even when there are no events at the depot a person can spot somebody taking pictures. Do you live below the depot on Capitol Boulevard or above the depot on Vista in the depot neighborhood?

Nicely done and so beautiful. The forest and mountain pictures are a great variation and the city panos with the mountain backdrop are amazing.

This is a killer thread and shows off the natural beauty of Boise well. I have moved here from Maine and am blown away by the immense mountains and wilderness adjacent to Boise. I love this pic!

I have recently met a few New Englanders who have moved to Boise.

You must have noticed one of the other people taking photos.
I am a young guy, with no gray hair as of yet!
