You really covered some ground. Nice photos. Not many people venture to Plaza De Castilla. There's a really good jamon shop up there.

PDX: You'd be surprised how many tourists venture up to the Plaza de Castilla area now that the towers are rising directly behind it. Also, many tourists have to catch northbound trains to other Spanish cities and France leaving out of Chamartin station right behind the plaza as well. Ten years ago, almost 100% of the people you'd see walking around that area were Spanish and now the area is a lot more multicultural due to all the tourists and all the Latin Americans (mostly from Ecuador) who live west of there along the Bravo Murillo corridor. It's always been an economically mixed area due to the abundance of high end housing mostly to the east and south of the plaza and the older, more inexpensive housing mostly to the west.

#96 was taken right outside of my old flat on Calle de Toledo. Oh, how I miss that view!
