It could be that since the piles are created in the ground on site, they need several
months to dry and harden before any weight of the structure can be put on
them? I imagine they might need several months to dry since that they are
40 or 50 feet into the ground.

That and remember it seemed to take 621 foundation laying process a few months to finish up, usually the foundation process and underground work takes the longest.

Thanks for posting the progress. With all the drama over the Towers and Aura I think people have somewhat forgotten about this highrise. Does anyone having updated images of the finished product?

It'd also be cool to see a rendering of 500 CM on the skyscraper diagrams chart. Anyone know how to request one? The Parthenon building is still listed as "proposed" on that chart...

Today they are dismantling the screw/pile driver... I can't believe the process
took less than two months.

Yes. They are now digging around piles to create forums for the concrete to
be poured into.

hahaha. GO CIM! In other news, CIM and CalPERS have submitted plans for a 8 story structure at 301CM, the former site of Saca's towers. Comprised of 6 stories of parking and 2 stories of office space it will serve as additional parking for CalPERS' sprawlscraper HQ.
