I can't stand the brown stick pre-spring Ottawa. Bleh.

No offense, Harley. Wish it would green up a bit. Your drone shots are the best things that have happened to this forum!

Also, I had to take all of my pics off Flickr once they started to boost their prices five-fold. I am not paying 100 bucks a year for that shit. Flickr pro is a rip off, there has to be a better way.

Thanks for posting. Looks pretty good. Interesting contrast between Earnscliffe, Lester B. Pearson and the new High Commission.

Happy that it looks like a pretty interesting building and that it frees up the building on Elgin, but really hate that it is out there with virtually no transit.

The new British High Commission on Sussex (in front of Earnscliffe), here's my update: this big white box of a building continues to be surrounded by layers of fencing and construction, a lot maybe related to what looks like maybe Parliamentary sector steam pipe services.

I'll try to get a photo but your mental image should basically be a white building up on a podium surrounded by fences and large pipes and construction machines.

My buddy is a tradesperson on this project and he says it is PAINFULLY slow. They second and third guess every decision and it seems every little detail change has to be sent across the pond before they can build it. I guess is a relatively high-profile and high-security project though.

He says it's effing painful waiting on every little decision like that. Looking forward to getting back to a more "normal" project.
