So will the city or Liuna control the ground floor commercial? I hope it isn't the city, just because of the crappy job they do as commercial landlords finding good tenants.

I don't think the City has anything to do with this building.

They’re buying it off of Liuna once complete. Staff from standard life are moving in. It’ll be connected to the existing building which also has city staff.

Last I heard from the builder is that a restaurant is planned. It'll be run by Equal Parts as "The Italian".

A month and a half after the previous update, the top two floors are visible again. Pictures from yesterday:

So let's compare what was proposed to what is being built.. I see a few differences already... can you spot them?

It may be a bit soon to speculate. That detailing may be added.

Seems like it may not jut out from its eastern neighbour as much as the render shows. But that's minor, if true.

I hope they better match the colour of that bottom-centre framing to the Lister though. Make it more of a cream, not stark white.

Yeah I think that may just be rendering issues.

Also it looks like the windows on the top and second top floor will be different as where they show windows there appears to be solid concrete. As for jutting out as much I think that may just be a difference of angles of the shots.

oOo they sandblasted the cornice area of the building next door - you can see the brick again.. good signs!

I'm a little surprised they kept the white paint on the rest of the building though.. also that roof woulda made a great patio area.. I think all roofs in future builds should be patios..

also the lister annex seems to be moving ahead at a snails pace.. other than finishing that black brick not much else seems to have been done..

and black brick.. that's a first.. I don't think I've ever seen that before.. looks nice! Better to put in brick the colour you want then paint it after..

or maybe it's a dark blue.. hard to tell from that angle..
