0
5000 - 1/3
10000 - 2/3

Obviously dependent on many factors/variables, but I am guessing no fans for 2020/2021... maybe 1/3 if not, but logistically a nightmare.

Well that was short lived. Oilers out so I don't have much interest in watching from here on. Bummer.

Cheer for the Canucks. A young exciting up and coming team. Leaf fans can cheer for the Canucks as well.

Quinn Hughes is starting to look like a very elite talent. We all knew he was good coming in, but not this good. Right now he is the best player on the team. Even Pettersson isn’t at his level.

Fair enough. If the Canucks stretch it to 5 against the Stanley Cup champs , I’ll be alright with that.

I was glad to see Toronto bow out last night. Any team that wins this year will always have an asterisk next to their win. My sister out in BC was not very happy though. Also I would not want our first Stanley win in 53 years during this pandemic.

That asterisk still comes with the cup, so I would happily take that!

Not gonna happen. Once my team is out I pretty much lose interest in watching but will still occasionally follow the series' and might watch some of the finals. Preds are also out (second choice for me) so I guess it would be nice to see Vegas or the Islanders win. I'd be okay with the Caps too but I don't think they have it in them this season.

I call bullshit on the idea there would have been an asterisk. Every team played 68-70 games before the shutdown. Then the top 4 in each side had to play a round robin for seeding and the other 16 had to play in to the playoffs. Any team that wins this will have worked hard and earned it. Baseball so far is the only one that should be having an asterisk on their champion.

Rangers have a solid core to build around. Sucks that they're doing it at the twilight of Hank's career.

If the Canucks somehow miraculously win the Cup, I would not put any asterisk attached to it. I would even be more proud of the players, because you have to be so disciplined in this pandemic environment. If some other team wins, I would treat their victory like I treat other teams' victories from other years--I don't care because the Canucks didn't win.

Agreed.

Plenty of hockey was played this year, and a full playoff schedule will be as well. No such asterisk exists. Only sore loser fans will mention an asterisk if a team they happen to hate wins the cup.

P.S I'm glad the Rangers got the #1 pick and Toronto or Edmonton didn't. Now the leafs are forced to give their first round pick to Carolina. Salt in the wound this year!

Hockey is over for Leaf fans... they've already moved onto the Raptors and are readying themselves for another NFL season.

Hard to see a young inexperienced team like the Canucks beating the Blues. If we have any chance of winning, we need all our big guns firing, but I think Pettersson is going to have a difficult time getting things going. Be interesting to see how Quinn Hughes reacts to playing the cup champs. I think we are missing one key ingredient though, and that is Podkolzin, who Igor Larionov compared to Mark Messier. Podkolzin is that type.

In any event it will be a good learning experience for the team. Would like to see at least 2 wins in the series, so I'm calling it Blues in 6.

Thank God the Oilers didn't get the 1st overall again! I would have had a brain aneurysm.
