I only asked for purpose of clarification. The Fake News was bound to confuse other Forumers who read their publication.

This article mentions a 14 story high rise recently receiving construction financing in Phoenix. Is this for the fillmore building? I don't recognize the developers name "George Smith Partners". Regardless, should see something break ground here soon.
Nice! Unit count and floors matches with Aspire Fillmore, so I assume that's the one.

Here is the latest map of downtown Phoenix' planned high rises.
I thought it would be cool to include the new 'Rastegar Property'(4th Ave at Van Buren) at potentially 50 floors
Enjoy

Yeah, it's weird to mention the capital partner and not the developer, but I'm almost certain this is for Aspire.

Is anyone going to be able to attend the open house for the NWC of Central and Thomas at the Wyndham Midtown? I would but am working late.

And we have a project for this!

19-2214 NWC CENTRAL AND THOMAS HIGH RISE

aka Central Towers

Smith Group is the architect so it sounds pretty real too.

Proposed rezoning is W6:T99A -- this could be a supertall! - I've never seen a FACT permit around a traffic study!

Man, some new towers in midtown would be amazing! I think there’s some rebalancing to be done in midtown and downtown. Midtown is so office heavy, some new high rise apartments would help a ton. Downtown, as discussed is seeing a huge influx of residential and now needs to see more commercial.

We went from doubting another 500 footer in the next decade to having the potential for 2 in a matter of 5 days. I realize this is still far from reality for either site & just speculation on height, but I’m excited for the prospect of supertall developments (Phoenix scale).

I never had any doubt. All of the remaining available large lots around the core are getting developed leaving only smaller lots. The small lots will need the additional height to pencil out. We will see several new tallest proposals before 2021 and I think at least 1 or 2 will get built by 2023 IMHO.

Edit: Anyone attend the hearing last night?? Spill the beans!!

Imagine:

This 'super tall' at NWC Central/Thomas - and then Park Central builds out their 3 687' towers - anchored at the other end by the Indian School Park project - we suddenly have a much more interesting skyline. Midtown of all places...

These, plus a potential 550' footer Downtown would finally place Phoenix on the big skyline maps. Here's to hoping

I really don't have alot of hope for these. I think these will be 20-30 story towers ultimately. I don't think just because the zoning allows for these that the developers will pursue such height. But hey, I'll take these at 20-30 anyways.

Whoever typed up the permit for Central Towers (NWC on Thomas and Central) screwed up the proposed zoning. They don't know the use of this tower, which I find a bit odd.

The case number is Z-41-19.
