I'm an architecture student as well and I strive to make sketchup models like this for presentations. Everything you have is fantastic, but one thing stands out to me. Where did your trees come from? Did you make them yourself? They have the perfect amount of detail to fit nicely in the model without looking too complex or too simple.

First thanks! Second, i got them on 3D Warehouse, couldnt remember from where.. sorry. You might just search for 3d Trees there and you'll probably find them.

@everyone else

Sorry for the long delay in updates. I fixed the problem with the zooming, but couldnt find the time in doing some new buildings. To much to do for university and to much projects at work....

I might find some time in April i think...

Really love all the pics! That's just an awesome as city! I love how you've used different styles of architecture in your city, it looks really amazing! Hope to see more!

Thanks Tower X

As proposed, i got some time to do some work. Started on a new cityblock today...

Originaly it was a quik fun model for the "Deutsches Historisches Museum" in Frankfurt Main (for a german architecture forum) which i had done during break at work

As you see, i changed some parts and added much more detail...
still a lot of work, but im on it

interesting incision of a contemporary design within the traditional townhouses of frankfurt. Nice modelling.

Thanks Pinyao!, those buildings dont really represent Frankfurts townhouses. As Frankfurt is in central Germany, they're more of timber/- Baroque stile.

As my city is situated in a northern setting, i chosed a more Renaissance orientated look, typical for coastal cities.
