Also, any ideas what the new owners net worth is? Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places but I can't find it anywhere. Only thing I found was an article from 2012 that said he was worth $654 million at that time.
I'm not sure either as his companies are private. Rumour is he paid about $12M for the team, I'm sure it's not a big deal for his overall wealth. He's saying all the right things and he's a local who isn't going anywhere. Perfect fit I hope.

Amazing how a single interception can change a whole game and possibly an entire season.

He seems legit, passionate and loves the game.

Impressive win by the Argos defeating the Grey Cup champs. Only 9886 in attendance 15000 fans are allowed so a lot of work MLSE has to do i am really disappointed since they took over ownership how they have done nothing to grow the Argos fan base since moving to BMO.

Bombers kind of sleepwalked through that one. The defence had its moments but it was out on the field far too long. I know the Bombers aren't a huge point scoring team but it's been a while since they've been that ineffective at moving the ball for prolonged stretches... you'd have to go back to sometime in mid 2019.

The Argos clearly watched a lot of film after last week's loss... they were ready and waiting to ambush the Big Blue. Back to the drawing board for next Sunday vs. Calgary.

This is shaping up to be a really competitive season where there are no guaranteed win games, I love it!

Big oof for the Elks. Should rightfully be a forfeit but I guess the league wants to get the game in.

Ticats announced they will required vaccinations or a negative test, starting Labour Day.

Now I need to figure out what they're looking for for proof, since I still just have my CDC card and nothing issued by Ontario.

We received a 'receipt of vaccination' from the pharmacist for each dose here in Alberta; I carry copies in my wallet.

Ottawa Redblacks will be requiring the same.

The Blue Bombers have been doing it that way since the start of the season... it certainly made me feel more comfortable being part of a crowd knowing that pretty well everyone in the venue is double-vaccinated.

Football finally returned to Toronto Saturday after a COVID induced 643 day absence. The win was nice but I'm more excited about the roster. They looked solid and Arbuckle is already winning fans. We sat in the end zone. I'll likely go again on Thursday when they host Edmonton. There were only 9,866 in attendance but the it felt like a lot more than that. The atmosphere was really good for a change.

My friends I went with said the same thing. It does look sharp. Maybe the best one they've come out with. The ball shaped boat in the helmet looks better in that dark navy.

Bombers going to sell $12 tickets for kids 12 and under for family day game. They should do this all season long in my opinion.

I like the pants, reminiscent of the ol' time Argos and personifies the "double blue" Now I don't know if the scheme is actually Cambridge Blue and Oxford Blue because I'm not too good with colours.

Considering the whole course of events and people's trepidations and the like, I'm getting a good vibe about the league this year. I think the BC owner is really going to affect some positive change when he gets settled. To me he comes off as the Larry Smith of BC (professional with all the connections).
