The podium on which it stands is just huge. I like this building.

I love elephant building. It's the most bizarre building I know.

This ugly thing (306 meters) was proposed for Malmö, but (thank god) never built. It's been called a giant goose.

^^
It was also nicknamed "Hylliepitten" (the Hyllie Prick) by the locals.

EDIT; I think it was something like 325m to the tip of the spire/antenna (not shown in that rendering).
EDIT2; It wasn't only proposed, but actually approved and given go-ahead, but the Norwegian guy who planned it pulled-out in the last minute due to the delays on the City Tunnel (which is now U/C).

No, you don't. We all know it's one of those drill things from Mega Man 2. They come out of the ground and the ceiling. It's so annoying.

^ That reminds me. What about that building in Chicago that looks like a giant chair?

I like the robot building. Makes me think of the Beastie Boys.

This obviously looks like a peach!

which one? the board of trade or the civic opera building?

the civic opera building was built to represent a throne of opulence that has it's back turned away from new york. or so the story goes...

and the board of trade building was supposed to represent a seat of power or something like that...

The Civic Opera Building. I have the book Above Chicago and it mentioned that also.

And I sort of like those wacky designs with all the stripes.

How about the marinade injectors:

Either way... ouch!

Wow Trantor. I forgot about those other buildings he's done. Most are really ugly. A couple are interesting though.
