Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore - Hotel Michael SketchUp Model

Alright how do I start... Possibly a little bit of Introduction?

Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore - (Let's just skip the Casino part ) The project consists of 4 main hotels, and were designed by American Architect Michael Graves, most notably known for his post-modern architecture works. In collaboration with DP Architects (Design Partnership Architects, Singapore) he designed 4 main Hotels in Sentosa:

Hotel Michael, Crockfords Tower, Festive Hotel and Hardrock Hotel

Below shows the entire overview of the 4 main hotels in Resorts World:

In this thread, I'm modeling Hotel Michael.

Hotel Michael is a Hotel located in Sentosa, Singapore. It was designed by Michael Graves, most notably known for his post-modernist architecture works.

Possibly one of the toughest, time consuming SketchUp model attempts ever modeled by myself, it's still underconstruction in SketchUp for nearly a month. I tried to be as detailed as possible in this model without the use of painted window textures.

This model is detailed up to the last estimated millimeter; the use of real dimensional windows with depths, arcs, internal layouts, floor and ceiling finishes, structural elements such as beams, columns, load bearing walls were modeled and even to the extent of external cladding thickness and finishes including the 10mm expansion joint gap.

Till today, only 2 (TWO) storeys have been completed totaling nearly 60mb file size.

Hey thanks toyota, I'm still taking up photography - I've got tons of new images for upload in flickr. Well I just graduated from polytechnic, got a diploma in Architecture, and I'm enlisting for the Army in November.

Thanks, I'll try to post them in SkycraperCity too. Anyway, I got some new images uploaded. Check back daily, people!

Thanks. Unfortunately I don't have any rendering tools, I'm only using the free version of Google Sketchup. And... I don't think my work is worthy to be there.

I love the attention to detail! Try Kerkythea for rendering, it's free. Although the single lines will cause you trouble as they won't render. You need faces.
