I would say yes, cause they all made big news this year.

My picks would be....

Kings Wharf
International Place
Centennial Development

and I would have to add an honorable mention for Founders Corner. It's a great infill development for downtown Dartmouth and I can't wait to see it when its finished.

Well i guess the proposals stay on the list.

Whatever happened to all the proposals from the Summer anways? I haven't heard anything on the Vic, Alexander, Emera, or Roy for awhile now. I hope too many didn't get pulled because of the ecomonic sitation...

I think to some degree there was simply a rush to get things approved before HRM by Design comes in. Realistically, it's unlikely that it would have been possible for these all to proceed during a short period even if the economy were doing well.

Most big proposals approved in 2006-07 haven't even started yet.

Also, I like the idea of the Roy Building proposal but it needs some design work.

True.

How many proposals were approved in 2006-07? That was before I started paying attention to development so I don't have a sweet clue.

The Roy Building idea was nice but I agree with you that the design needed some work. The only project I'm really curious about is the Vic. Something about that one really caught my attention.
