Geoff Keddy Passes Away?

I have been seeing statements on social media regarding the death of architect Geoff Keddy. I have been unable to find any obituary or other confirming information. Does anyone have any news?

This is quite possible. I heard this week that he just learned he had stage 4 pancreatic cancer, and only had weeks to live. Unfortunate and sad.

Oh wow - this is shocking. I did see a few statements on social media and had been trying to find something.

this is a big loss for all Nova Scotia. Geoff was one of a kind. RIP my friend.

Geoff passed away yesterday morning. He will be missed.
I was very lucky to know him.

Geoff 'is' of the warmest friends and fathers. His care and appreciation for family has further extended to many warm friends and associates. Always ready with a smile, Geoff and Val frequently host the Maritimes' most pleasant guests. Whether visiting "The Arc" or cruising the harbours aboard "It's a boat time" it is certain you will enjoy the wonderful memory. Although Geoff had captured his final sunset just days ago his "Mayor of the Marina" spirit will be remembered by the nicest Maritimers.
