No sign of forms for those tall feature columns.

I can see the feature columns now.
2 have been poured, 1 looks ready to be poured and 1 is being formed.
You can also see the forms for the transfer slab above those columns.

Pics by me today -

Scaffolding around the feature columns coming down.
You can really see how the transfer slabs above and below them transition
between staggered columns below and above the open area.

Pics by me today - more scaffolding coming down.

The concrete at the top of the podium has grooves in it
- so I suspect that the finish will end up being painted concrete

Thanks for the updates, McMinsen. They really put into perspective the street-level presence this project already has, and it's barely transitioned from the podium to the core tower element. This one is kind of an odd duck. It feels more pronounced and significant than a normal infill mixed-use tower.

This one is interesting to watch, especially with officedweller's bird's eye views. And then this. I was on the south seawall of False Creek today east of Granville Island and noticed a view of the Smithe. When the tower is topped off you should be able to see most of it from this angle.

Surprising that it's visible - but probably the result of the bend in Cambie St.

Pic by me yesterday:

I noticed some steel studs being installed on the exterior wall facing Cambie today - we'll see how much of the exterior wall will be framed..

There's a view cone height limit that runs up Cambie on both sides of the street from Alder Terrace (higher elevation than the seawall):
