Yeah, this was:

However, since this project is soooo old, I've been wondering wether they have changed the design very often. Now, look at this...

According to ss.cn, there is a new proposal for that plot. Here is the link, I'm not sure what are they saying, but in the second page they posted a picture of that plot, so... I suppose they are talking about it. The render looks quite promising. Anybody could translate the info?

Tied up? Well, as long as you use precautions... Make a man of him!

I suppose this is the same project as the so called Harmony City...

... and, I guess that's the area where the Shanghai Rockefeller Center is proposed...

... do you have any news of this master plan? The height and no. of floors of the taller building maybe?

I think I've just discovered something big...

Check this article published in august 2006: http://sh.focus.cn/votehouse/2404.html

Here is a project called 绿洲中环中心(绿洲湖畔花园二期)社区网, something like Oasis Lakeside Garden. I saw these renders long time ago, but before today I thought they might be just another proposal for Shangri-La Puxi hotel. Now I wonder if they are a second phase of the Oasis Skyway Garden or so. Take notice that the article has been published quite recently, last august.

Renders

Official news from SHKP projects in Shanghai :

NEW PROJECT : Shanghai’s Huai Hai Zhong Road

The Huai Hai Zhong Road Lot 3 project takes full advantage of its linkage with a new MTR station which will form a transport hub for the interchange of three MTR lines, one operating and other two under construction. By opening up the basement retail into the combined station concourse, the project will capture an uninterrupted flow of railway commuters. Apart from being the most sought-after retail mall, the project also comprises grade A office space and luxurious residential apartments. The commercial and the residential elements will be integrated by an elegant yet vibrant façade, making it a coherent comprehensive development.

More details about the Wei Fong project (by the Huangpu river, in front of the Shimao Riviera Garden)

Another developing project in Shanghai is the Wei Fong residential development. The project, with gross floor area of about 1.7 million square feet, is located at a prime site on the waterfront of Huangpu River. With residential development, serviced apartment, clubhouse and other facilities, it will be the most deluxe property in Lujiazui of Pudong. The buildings are grouped in curvilinear form, and residential blocks are stepped in height to capture the best views of the Huangpu river and the Bund. Its unique exterior building design, facing Huangpu River, makes it as an icon of Pudong district.

^That's not only completely awesome, but completely dwarfs the 500m SWFC! Bring it on!

Looking good.

I like that the WFC is about twice the height of Jin Mao in this rendering.

The expo grounds have totally taken off. I really need to get closer so I can get a more detailed update.

This is the tallest planned for the site, not including the North Bund Tower of course.

This is the best I could do as far as getting a wide angle of the grounds. I tried to get on the site in the foreground, but got kicked off.
If you look closely, you can see four buildings rising behind the yellow crane. They are a mixture of office, hotel and convention space. I'll make it my mission in the next couple of weeks to get an aerial and try to get on to the actually site.

It seems almost unreal that the Wheelock is above ground.
Nothing (visible) happened to this tower from the time I visited Shanghai in February 2006, until the time I moved to Scandinavia from Shanghai in June 2007.

New office tower UC right beside the Global Financial Tower. Don't know the name or the height.

21st Century Mansion is above ground

Any information (height, completion dates) for these towers would be appreciated.
