It's funny how easily One Bennett Park gets lost in those renderings.

Agreed, northbound Dan Ryan has always been my favorite perspective ever since I was a little kid. Something about Sears just standing there in all it's dominance like some sort of mountain in the distance that feels like it takes forever to come close to. Plus I always loved seeing the wall of Robert Taylor/Stateway towers on the right that are no longer there, for better or worse.

That's a decent view, but need to let the photo expand to include Hancock (ahem) and N. Michigan Ave. However, a 1300 footer would be nice from that (and frankly any) angle

Best view: from Adler; Worst view: From the SW

A 'sleuth' did say 'Juan,' but it wasn't clear to me who that was

I believe that's a reference to JGMA. JGMA does nice work but I find it highly unlikely that JGMA was picked to design a supertall residential tower given their portfolio of work.

My view from the west-southwest is getting really crowded in that part of the skyline. Given where OBP is relative to Trump Tower, this may be directly behind it and I won’t even see it.
I’ll have a better feel when Vista pops up.

There are plenty of other cities that would beg to have the big sky penis!!!

I hope it gets built somewhere if not Chicago.

A reminder - from 2007

Not sure who did this diagram - note that the thick line around the entire site represents a 70'+ deep wall - part secant and part slurry.

This one is mine

There were people out scoping the property yesterday. One of them looked like/was possibly Curt Bailey of Related.

Very cool, thanks for posting. I'm eager to see what they utilize from what's there and what adaptations they make otherwise.

And that last photograph is art!

Seriously Harry, you could have at least increased the contrast on the photo so details would show better...
