I visited last weekend..it was 85 degrees. With that kind of weather in late November, I decided to lump in photos from that weekend with some taken back in early August. Not much in the form of exploration or new ground covered; rather photos from social outings with friends (and food!). Enjoy!

I liked the restaurant theme. That looked like some pretty good gumbo & chow fun you had there...

And I think you're the first person on this board to post anything on Occupy LA. What was the atmosphere like down there?

This was my favorite shot:

Great set, and I hope this foreshadows a ride up and over the grapevine haha.

I actually posted some pictures of Occupy L.A. back when I did my civLAvia thread, but no matter...

Anyways, great thread.

Finally! This is my favorite new building in L.A. , and I'm glad somebody finally got around to post a picture of it. I think they did a phenomenal job on it.

And Artisan House looks amazing! They did a gorgeous job on it, truly looks like something right out of 1930. If the food is even half as good as the decoration, then they will be a huge success.

Oh, and finally getting my 5D MkII in tomorrow. I'll try my best not to completely copy your aesthetic when I go out to shoot . You're pictures perfectly capture that sunny, laid back, gaudy essence that makes L.A. what it is. Once again, great work.

My mistake then. Now that you mention it, I do remember seeing your pics.

Sublime. Looks like you're on a Peruvian food kick! Loved the shot of the officer on horseback. As always, thanks!

Thanks for the pictures, Kingofthehill!

I´m glad to see L.A. again. We´ve come back from L.A. just only a month ago. It´s a fantastic city.

I like your portraits of people and meals. Wonderful pictures.

Congratulations and greetings from Madrid, Spain!
