Hey, what's that top painting? I like it. And is it titled "Skyscraper (I Love You)"? <3 for the Underworld reference.

Ron Gonsalves was originally an architect, but then went into painting. His paintings are... a bit tricky
The Night of the Late Night

Table-Top Towers

A Change of Scenery

Those tricky from Ron Gonsalves are fantastic... I would say a lit bit of surrealismus.

Sorry, not a fan of Gonsalves-- I think his work is rather poorly painted and somewhat facile.

Some truly great painters have painted skyscrapers:

Wayne Thiebaud:

"Apartment Hill"

hanneorla@flickr

"Hill Street"

link

"Uphill Streets"

link

Charles Sheeler:
"Church Street El"

link

"Skyscrapers"

link

Charles Demuth:
"Incense of A New Church"

link

Georgia O'Keeffe:
"New York, Night" from 1929

link

"Manhattan"

link

And of course, Childe Hassam, who painted New York's skyscraper transformation at the turn of the 20th century:

"Allies Day May 1917"

Boquillas all your examples are great......thanks for posting them.

There's only one correction:
The Georgia O'Keefe painting isn't the Radiator Building.

Here's the Radiator Building painting (from 1927)
