The pictures of the Jurrasic Parks across Canada is awesome.
Hamilton also gets a few thousand watching in the arena as well.

Given the rise of basketball in the African Francophone, which is also one of the fastest growing regions of the world, it would be good to establish a French language beachhead for the NBA in Montreal.

Players like Pascal Siakam and Serge Ibaka would not find themselves out of place in Montreal.

Asian heavy Vancouver? Not so much unfortunately. Perhaps we can import a dozen Yao Mings for the team to stand a chance?
Basketball is large in China and the Philippines are nuts for it!

The picture of “Saskatoon” was actually game 4 in Regina. I played (and loved) basketball growing up so it’s fun to see so much excitement around the game.

This is true, but I doubt any American NBA players are as nuts about China or the Philippines. Except maybe their women

Yes. You aren't reading it right at all. I don't think my comparison between these two "celebrations" to people standing in line for hours for a new amusement ride is all that confusing. What would be the point of the analogy if I was in the mindset of Toronto vs Montreal?

No. I wasn't comparing Maple Leaf Square to Peel. I was saying that no party is worth standing "in line" for hours on end. It only makes some sense in Toronto being it's the Toronto Raptors.

Twenty-six years, baby!! The drought. Is. Over!

Probably barely any of these kids out there going crazy were even born when Joe Carter hit that home run in 1993, much less would they have been old enough to remember it.

This is so sweet. I never dared dream of having my own NBA team back when I was a kid. We were always on the outside looking in. But now we got a team, and they're champions?

Wow.

The city is insane. Every major street downtown has been taken over by pedestrians. This timing is fucking terrible for me but I'm going out to celebrate!

Congratulations, TO!

EDIT: There are sssooo many people not in the office today. Dozens, maybe hundreds. It feels like working on a holiday.
