It's a spectacular, sunny day.

Never heard any unusual birds yet today, but did add a purple finch and common raven.

I've downloaded the app too, but haven't tried it out yet.

It was -4C in Moncton at 6 AM, but it has shot all the way up to +4C as of 9 AM, going to 12C this afternoon with brilliant sunshine.

The next five days should be wonderful, reaching 17C on Saturday.

The harbour was like glass this morning but it was cold. We dropped to -0.8 this morning for an hour or two. Currently it's 5c and still clear and calm but a SE wind is forecast to begin around noon which means on shore winds and a cool day with a high reaching only 9 in spite of the sunshine. It'll be much warmer inland and on the other side of the province.

TWN has us going up to 25 on Sunday, EC is saying 19. Will be interesting to track. Storms expected as well, so if we do reach that 25 reading, it will come with our first humidex reading of the year as well.

Mostly cloudy with some sun this morning, mid 50s with rain coming later. The poppies are in bloom.

+1C and very light snow flurries in Ottawa-Gatineau right now.

It's been a very cool even cold April here, after very mild months of February and March.

I'd make a switch if I had my way, and have colder February and March.

Fog at higher elevations. Bitter chill in the air.

Hard day on drugs. Hiking buddy is a paramedic and said it's been back to back overdoses in my area today, and one stabbing. Must be a bad batch making the rounds.

Clouds turned to sunny skies and 9C with a chilly wind blowing off Lake Ontario this afternoon in High Park. The South/Asians are hysterical for these tiny pale flowers which are triggering my allergies
