It looks like the north end of building will only be 7 floors high while the south end will be the 8 floors now. They have also started on exterior brick stone work on the west side of building now. They have been landing the precast roof slabs on the north end of building now effectively completing that end.

Looks like you're right. Here is a rendering from the website, looking NW from Hyde Park and Gainsborough

Progress has pretty much stalled out in completing the 8th floor concrete block walls and prefab steel wall installs. Still alot of work left to complete the 8th floor and install the roof. Have noticed they are advertising this will be ready by the Spring but that would likely be June just prior to rolling into Summer.

The 8th floor roof slabs are now installed and have built the mechanical penthouse. This is now topped out. They have installed the exterior brick on the west side for the podium base now as well. Alot of exterior work left and interior finishing yet to complete. No signs that any of the tenants in the plaza to the north have vacated. This is where the north building is planned to be built.

Very little progress on the mechanical penthouse so far. A little more of the exterior stone and brick has been installed on the NE side podium base.

Contractors were working today on a Sunday applying stucco to the exterior walls. The masonry contractor has completed the podium 2 story base brick and stone installs now.

Interesting they have started on the concrete curbing and planters that front Hyde Park and Gainsborough. Still alot of exterior finishing left to complete.

Still applying the exterior stucco finish on this building. Appear to still have alot of interior drywall and painting left as well. Another really slow build on this relatively small 8s building.

No signs that any of the tenants in the plaza immediately north are leaving as the plaza will need to be demolished for the second building to be built. Would not be surprised this developer waits a few years before starting building 2.

They still have not finished the sidewalk planters around the perimeter of this building as of yet and still have fencing around it. They appear to still be working on the interiors as well. Don't think they have even got any tenants as of yet. This was a brutally slow build for some reason.

They finally paved the west side parking lot. Still no progress on finishing the sidewalk surrounding the south and east side of the building. Exterior finishing work still happening around the balconies. The commercial plaza to the north where tower 2 is supposed to be built still has tenants and appears to be leasing for new tenants. I'd be surprised if tower 2 is built any time soon.

Maybe they will wait until the old house on site has conveniently rotted away.

Paving stone contractor now on site installing paving stones for the sidewalk and walk ways around the base. Why they didn't start this months ago when the weather was so much better is really strange.

Looks like they decided to pour concrete for the sidewalk area on the east side and they installed grass on sections of the south side. Appear to still be working on the interior fit out with a kitchen and bath company truck parked onsite. Don't think any tenants have moved in as of yet but could be close now. Zero signs that they intend to start phase two and build the north tower with the retail plaza still occupied with tenants.
