What is to happen from that old strip mall site, along with the Mr. Transmission building? More of Richmond Yards?

I wonder if this one might end up being the tallest building in our skyline. Full skyline below for reference:

According to google earth the site has a 60m sea level elevation vs fenwick at about 20m This will technically be ~40m taller than fenwick from sea level. But how tall it looks will depend on a persons viewpoint.

Interestingly though you can already see this from Kearny Lake & Dunbrack intersection area.

Driving down Woodlawn Ave in Dartmouth, that whole Robie, Almond, Young area looks quite impressive from across the harbour.

Fenwick may still be more prominent from Woodside bit I think this, especially with the buildings around it, will be a real sight from most other directions.

I would guess so but have seen no plans to date. I also read yesterday that the adjacent building where Fox Hill had their Halifax retail store is also being demolished now that the farm folk have vacated.

Halifax has a flat top. It needs a series of downtown hi-rises that are several floors higher than one another and higher than the 23 floor, like a 30 and 35+.

I saw a base on site last week. They also adjusted the shorter crane last week. Maybe that was adjusted to make way?
