very generic. But Staples is the "Michael's" of office supplies. It is the "Bed, Bath, Barf, and Beyond Bankrupt" of stationary. I hate the place.
way back in the day, when I lived in downtown Vancouver, I interviewed with Staples for a retail management position. Much to my surprise, during the interview, some guy that I went to high school (clear across the country in Montreal: what are the chances?), interrupted our interview for some thing or another, and the guy conducting the interview went all George Bolanis-y on him. I decided I didn't want the job (even though that guy from my high school was a complete dick, and probably deserved to have a new asshole torn off him...I just thought it was unprofessional during the interview, and it seemed like a harbinger of some awful potential future for me...not that it was all that much better where I ended up: the latter place had relatively kind upper management at HQ, but the customers were unbearable).
