DALLAS | Saint Ann Court | 350 FT / 107 M | 27 FLOORS

Saint Ann Court will be the newest office building at Harwood International Center. The 24-story glass and metal tower will be located at the corner of Harry Hines and Moody and will include the historic Saint Ann School. Designed by architects Perkins and Will/CRA, the building has tapered sides and will contain several European style gardens. The design plan includes a restaurant in the historic Saint Ann School building, a private museum and a “Rockefeller Center-style” garden over the parking garage.

The thing is though that ground is starting to move so this might be under
construction soon

There is a white tent set up on the site, im guessing there might be a ground breaking soon.

Funny, they do the ground breaking after they have already started digging around and doing ground samples.

Emporis is listing it as having 24 floors. Do you know when they changed it to 27 floors? Also, the Harwood Internatioinal website still lists it with 24 floors.

This is another neat little building. That top is nice, especially when viewed from the side with the podium level.

Harwood's site has the old stats from several years ago (this has been planned for ages). Emporis has the stats from those days.

The numbers in all their announcements from the last year or so roll w/26 or 27 stories, depending on if you get it from BOKA POWELL, another arch. firm, or varied news sources. One thing for certain, they have been saying an even 350' for a long time and so does Dallas P & Z.

Yea...as a Dallasite I have been reading about this building for about 2 years now. Looking at the "official website" they mentioned museum space under the amenities for the building. I wonder what that is about ? What kind of museum? What kind of art? I just think that is interesting.

The Museum is for Saint Ann's school. The brick building on the site now. Correct me if im wrong if anyone knows a different story but i heard it was one of the first all black schools in Dallas and the building is kinda protected by the historic foundation but it will be incorporated into the new tower. Im going downtown today and im going to check out the plaque in front of it.

If I remember correctly from scattered articles over the years, the school will incorporate the museum as mentioned above (Gabriel Barbier-Mueller's vast array of art pieces I guess); as well as a restaurant and garden.

BTW, below is some more eye candy (a close-up of one posted above). Here you can see more clearly a mini-park up on a topside level and some more greenery features as you look downward into the cut-outs. That is a fairly nice feature/gesture which helps soften that side of the building since it's directly across from the residents at the 2011 Cedar Springs tower.

Here's a recent photo of the site by rosewood:

Look forward to your new photos, dallasbrink.

I dont like rosewood, that he/she want to add external glass elevators to everything and uses photoshop to much for a stay at home trany.

but he/she does take some good photos before he/she butchers them in photoshop.
