Two Skylines In One Shot????

a discussion was sparked on a regional mid atlantic thread about the possibility of a photograph depicting two city skylines in one view (the subject then being nyc and philly). The consensus has been that a double skyline shot would be sweet, maybe even mind blowing. Any ideas, or even actual photos, from anywhere around the world??

Dallas/Fort Worth, Twin Cities & HK/Shenzhen pop into my head as having some potential here? Curvature of the Earth becomes a problem beyond certain distances for skylines (although not for aerials).

Maybe a 360 pano taken from in between 2 cities and probably high up.

Buffalo and Toronto maybe? Toledo and Detroit? Maybe DC and Baltimore, but DC's height limits might make that difficult. Philly and NYC would be the coolest, but i dont know if thats possible. They're not too distant? Hills get in the way?

Here is a photo I took a long time ago. St Paul in the foreground, Minneapolis in the background. There actually aren't very many angles where you can get both skylines in the same shot:

Curvature of the Earth. Milwaukee and Chicago are only 80 miles apart, and someone here once made the calculation that if Chicago spire were built, it would be visible (and only visible) from the very top of the tallest building in Milwaukee. Philly and NY are 90 miles apart.

For Toronto and Buffalo you would have to be suspended in the air across Lake Ontario on a clear day, and take a 360 panaroma of high resolution. In theory.

Austin and San Antonio are only 80 miles apart, but there's no way you'd ever be able to see both skylines. Too many hills. It is amusing to think that if Central Texas was flat and both cities had taller skylines that you'd be able to see the other city.

There is a suburban office building about halfway between DC and Baltimore that's about 13 stories tall. From the top floor you can see both cities, but you can't get them in a single picture since you have to look out different windows.

There are lots of examples of multiple DC suburban skylines being in the same picture, though. If you don't mind that they're all smaller, of course. Here's Rosslyn (foreground) with Tysons Corner (background):
