I added captions this time. My favourite part is the duck crossing, ha!

This one contains ABSOLUTELY NO SUBURBS, not even Mount Pearl. It's just St. John's.

Found this one tonight. A few friends and I busked one night of this event and it was amazing. So many people stopped to talk to us and told us how much they enjoyed hearing our music. Even little kids were dancing around and throwing loonies and toonies at us. It really represented Hamilton's down to earth spirit well. Over 50, 000 people flooded about 10 downtown blocks on 2 separate nights.

There are interactive presentations going on year-round in QDS but they are always different. If you miss one, you lose! There is a lot of video mapping on the UQAM science, design and residence buildings as well as the church tower. BANQ, Place des Arts and Émilie-Gamelin have a lot of stuff too. Festivals use the space from June to September: MUTEK, Francofolies, Jazz, Juste Pour Rire/Just For Laughs, Nuits d'Afrique, FNC and then Montréal en Lumière and Nuit Blanche the last 2 weeks in February. They have their own things going on. The rest of the time you never know what you'll see!

This is the only presentation that has ever repeated. It was so popular in 2011 that people demanded that they bring it back this spring. It will be back in spring of 2013 as well. It's a lot of fun but it has to close when Francofolies begins in June.

(Sorry to babble on but we're down there all the time diggin' this shit!)

This was in early September. l'OSM set up a piano that anyone could play and make different designs flash by on the UQAM science pavillion:

MUTEK always has cool stuff. For this you could use your phone to control a panel on the side of the UQAM design building, which is effectively a giant screen:

Another from FNC and another where you could use your phone. This time, to play a clip from any of the films:

Gotta throw one up for Moment Factory. After several big coups this year including the Super Bowl show and Madonna's tour, they were chosen for the collaboration between Montreal and Barcelona for the video mapping of La Sagrada Familia:

Melissa Mongiat and Mouna Andreos (creators of 21 balançoirs) also created Bloc Jam. You created a piece of music with your phone and listened to it while watching it on the side of UQAM science building. I've met Melissa and she's one of the nicest, coolest persons ever.

Mongiat & Andreos also created the igloo village for last year's Igloofest.
