Has there been any indication what type of business will utilize the ground floor retail space? Seems poised for a coffee shop of some kind given the little landscaped alleyway next to the building.

Early on they were talking about a grocery store, but that seems to be the case with every building (W/E (Hull), SoHo, Nuovo) and it rarely materializes.

Renting agency?

does anyone know who is handling the rentals for this property? Or when they will be announced? I currently live at 570 Laurier and have been watching the building over the past year grow to what it is today but I haven't been able to find any information on who is handling the rentals for this property.

Debris

Hello again!

I have a question - is it normal for debris to fly off construction sites every time the wind picks up? An incredible amount of stuff blows off this site. I once watched one of their huge orange tarps let go - which is SO dangerous considering the traffic below. I have video of some of the smaller debris being blown off. Is this normal and allowed?

Thanks!

Hey, debris should not be flying off buildings because it can hurt pedestrians or cause damage to adjacent buildings. It can also be a sign of poor health and safety practices.

You can try calling the Ministry of Labour.

The OCA moved down to Antares after they sold this property.

What is the purpose of the blue paint over top of the original concrete exterior?

I doubt that it's paint. A waterproofing membrane of some sort maybe?

What materials are they planning to use for the Bronson Towers reclad?

Oof. I don't care for composite architectural panels and insulated metal panels, all of which are the rage these days for cheap architects and developers. I think concrete would look a lot better.

Cases in point, this reclad building at Charlotte and Rideau, which was mostly fine save for the ground floor which really needed to be redone.

Or this red-brick building by the Canal reclad with grey EIFS: both a depressing colour and a worse material.

Fully agree with you here. The one on the canal is a travesty. It went from nondescript and subtle to Brutalist gore with the reclad. I hope Bronson Place is at least a lateral change, or a slight upgrade, but the progress pic doesn't give me much hope.
