While everything was still green in Austin

I took these on 11/1 just as the fall colors started popping up. I need to go back out for another round because the fall colors have been decent this year.

SoCo Lofts progress.

I was worried about those guys in the cherry picker.

Don Mar Motel site cleared.

Some 360 attention.

360 Condominiums - 563 feet - 44 floors (473 feet to the roof).

Four Seasons Residences - 394 feet - 32 floors. This building will have the highest rooftop swimming pool in Texas.

Spring - 427 feet - 43 floors.

The Ashton & 100 Congress.

The Ashton base.

The Ashton - 412 feet - 36 floors.

The Ashton.

The Austonian (left) and The Ashton (right) under construction.

The Austonian - 683 feet - 56 floors.

The Austonian.

The Monarch.

New esplanade along Cesar Chavez Street.

Cranes for the 476 foot, 35-story W Austin Hotel & Residences.

21Rio - 236 feet - 21 floors. An apartment tower north of Downtown and west of the UT Campus. It's ~22 blocks north of where I took this photo.

Cranes for the 476 foot, 35-story W Austin Hotel & Residences. Once complete, it'll have the 2nd highest roof in the city.

I was editing the photos for this thread on election night, and I kid you not, as I was working on this one, they announced Barack Obama's election for the presidency.

Thanks for looking.

Great photos.

This one was my favorite. What type of grass is that?

Damn Kevin, that's a wonderful set. One of the best I've seen from ya. What's your Flickr name so I can add you as a contact?

Edit: Nevermind, Kevinfromtexas seemed like the obvious choice.

Nice shots. You got a couple of good ones of 21 Rio. SoCo Lofts - are those the ones on S. Congress next to the post office just south of Ben White, or is that a different development?

I was going to try to get out this weekend to take more photos to add to the ones I already posted but I just couldn't get motivated.

I'm not sure. I like it though. There's some more of it on the other side of the park, and in the late afternoon the sunlight shines through it and it almst glows.

Yep. You can see the post office to the right in the first shot.
