This nice vintage photo on flickr by Ross Dunn shows how much more 'green' we have in the city now than in 1930. Goes with my Glebe photo in the other thread.

Let's not forget that the population of Ottawa was a bit over 100,000 in 1930. It's easy to keep a place green if no one is living there, you know.
