A distant, fatter cousin. Though that last angle giallo took looks pretty good. It could use some mullions or something to break up that massive facade, though.

A slightly different angle. Hopefully the building will be fully cladded in glass by spring.

Great update...
The building is so tall that it could compete with the 2nd, 3rd, 4th high building with floor height in Puxi.

It's been awhile omly because there has been much to update. Looks to be almost finished now. Well, the exterior anyway.

The construction elevators are coming down now. Look like this one should be opening soon.

I’m back from my huge China trip and of course I also covered all the construction going on there. So I have construction updates for buildings in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xi’an, Hangzhou and Suzhou. It will take a while until I post all of them here, since I took over 13,800 photos during the trip and as you can imagine it takes a while to sort through all of them, but let’s start with Shanghai.

All Shanghai updates were taken between 16th and 21st August

Looks like they are testing out the exterior lighting system.

From some angles, it makes me think of the belly of a pregnant woman.
